
In Chicago, the building code clearly states...
...that when you hang your chandelier above your sink, the bottom of the chandelier has to be exactly six inches higher than your $300 Ruffoni Hammered-Copper Stockpot with Acorn Lid should it be on the counter next to the sink.

Be safe or be sorry, people. Task lighting is important, but let's not get crazy. I'm just sayin.

Wow, that looks absolutely ridiculous. Besides the light fixture hanging far too low, it is casting all kinds of shadows on the sink. And the chandelier isn't even a great stylistic match for the faucet: danish modern faucet, contemporary transitional chandelier with fabric shades and glass finials. The metal tones don't even match. Yuk.
