Toto's 2006 KBIS booth delivered just what you'd expect--every imaginable amenity you could want for the perfect bathroom experience.
I have a professional colleague with a Toto toilet and their family loves it. They have kids, so I think they especially like the fact that the lid is slam-proof--from my informal tests at the show it can take almost a full minute for the seat to drop. Amazing.
I was surprised to find out that Toto makes more than just toilets. (Note: If I'd spent even 5 seconds at the Toto website before the show I wouldn't have been surprised--they sell all kinds of stuff.) They were displaying this very modern, angular bath series that included both toilet and shower fixtures.

That was all fine and good, but I spent most of my time checking out what I'd really come to see: toilets with remote controls.

Man, that thing has more buttons than our Tivo!
Finally, we wouldn't be doing full justice to the folks at Toto if we didn't also cover the fact that they used KBIS 2006 to unveil their NEOREST bath collection. Unfortunately, the truth is that we really didn't do justice to it--the press preview was actually at 5pm on our last day and we were just too tired to stick around.
So, to be fair to Toto we'll point you to the official Neorest website. There you can read up on their existing products--the 500 and 600 models. It doesn't appear to currently include information on the full bath collection (which, according to the PR info we received, includes "a NEOREST Programmable auto-fill Airbath with audio command confirmation;NEOREST Lavatory with programmable Sensor Faucet, a Programmable Sensor Roman Tub Fill, and NEOREST Accessories."). We'll keep our eyes peeled for it.
