If you are going to have a trough sink, shouldn't you be using it as a trough? I'm just saying.
From the Kohler Booth:
I was wandering through a model kitchen when this unusual sink caught my eye. Long, shallow and flanked by two faucets. Nested into the kitchen's sleek island in front of a row of stylish barstools.
A Kohler representative was answering the questions of the attendees next to me about the sink.
Attendee: "But what is it for, exactly? What do you do with it?"Representative: "It's for entertaining. You can put ice in it and settle wine bottles or beer in it for guests. Or you can use it to serve chilled shrimp and oysters. It has a lot of uses."
Attendee: "Does it come with a food disposal in the trough?"
Representative: "I don't...hmmm...I don't believe it does."
I couldn't help myself. I had a sudden vision and I just needed to talk about it. It was just so obvious to me.
"It's kind of a shame that there isn't a food disposal," I blurted out. "Because after a handful of eight year old boys ate a spaghetti dinner at that counter, that trough would make the clean-up brilliantly easy. Or, if two six year old girls decide to decorate cupcakes with sprinkles, icing and red hots? Whoosh. Sprinkles gone with the sweep of a paper towel and down the drain in ten seconds."
I mean, you see it too, don't you?
