Put a little garden where the sun shines in :)
We have this really lovely old garage behind the house with two four-paned windows between two doors. Yes, it needs a decent coat of paint and a new roof, but! What I'm really dreaming of is...
...windowboxes.
Just adding a touch of color and organic form to a more vertical surface. With flowers. Or herbs.
And with the help of Cottage Living for ideas and a windowbox pattern. And Benjamin Moore's Personal Color Viewer 2.0 with Microsoft Paint 5.1 to visualize it.
If you'd rather purchase one then make your own...they come in metal, wood, PVC...many different materials. And many different prices.
Don't know what to grow? Try searching for container gardens.
Now. If I can only trade in my black thumb for a green one...

Jm,
That looks like it could be a delightfuy little hobby barn. Someday, when your house is DONE, what do you plan to do inside the garage?

Very cute...if my garage looked that darling (or could be made to look that cute for a coat of paint) I'd turn it in to a playhouse for my daughter!
