Loft Ladder

Located in A's parent's house, its from this loft that J typed the first webpage entry for our blog! That bedroom and its crow's nest up above served as our transitional "home" for two months as we did the initial clean-up of the house.

The clever built in ladder makes a space accessible that would otherwise go unused. Its a fun place that gets lots of use whenever guests with kids come over. J would also use it as a retreat for reading and writing while we went through the emotional transition of moving in to our own first house.

We've been hoping there will be a way to create a similar space in our place, but the roofline might not allow it.
