As work continues to proceed on our first floor bathroom, yesterday we picked out the overhead light from the "Northwestern Series" from Schoolhouse Electric.
We came across their catalog a few months ago and enjoyed their lighting very much. The founder started the company after coming across some cast-iron moldings used to produce residential and institutional lighting in the early 1900s. He decided to restore the molds and now ofters various combinations of fixtures and shades. The Schoolhouse Electric website has their full catalog and is simple but fun to explore. They also do great handpainted globes like the one below. Unfortunately, they don't offer grey (our chosen accent color) and don't do custom requests. However, if you're looking for something in vintage green, blue or beige they have some great options.
